We left Rexburg around 5pm. It's like a four hour drive, and we were planning on leaving earlier but hey, you can't win them all! We were planning on meeting up with Heather at her work to get her apartment key for Cassie and I. This was also Daniel's first stop on the scavenger hunt. We then when to her aunts house, a very willing Wendy's drive-thru, and another aunts house, before finally making it to her apartment. then while Dan got ready to propose, Scott, Cassie, and I ran to Smith's for some decorations and an amazing chocolate cake. Then we left Dan in her apartment and sat in the parking lot for at least and hour waiting to send Dan a text letting him know Heather was coming. She said yes and they finally let us come up so we could celebrate too! Then we went to sleep because it was like 2am.
Saturday:
Cassie Heather and I woke up at around 7:30, to head down to my uncles house. It was raining. After getting the "boot" removed from her car we got there right around 9am. It was still raining. Kieth and Betty gave us directions to the TRAX. We just missed our train so we were a little late to the first session. Still raining.
(A train leaving the station going the wrong way)
We watched the first session in one of the visitors centers, after meeting up with Cassie's cousin Chris. In between sessions we tried to get into the conference center just to look (I've never been inside it before), but they didn't let us. We got 5 dollar foot longs from Subway which were delicious, especially considering my lack of breakfast. We had some trouble trying to find a dry place to stand or sit that would let us consume our lunch.
(In Chris's moms car trying to find some place to eat our foods, while abiding by the strict law of no eating in the car!!)(We finally found a place to eat, under one of the pavilions at a TRAX station. Does Dan look a little cold?)
We watched the second session in the Tabernacle, which was cool cause I hadn't been there in forever. After we headed back to Uncle Kieth's. Where we would all spend the night. We stayed up late chatting and watching Myth Busters.
(Uncle Kieth's mansi...I mean house)
Sunday:
Since it took us so long to dry out after our trip into Temple Square Saturday, we decided to stay and watch conference with my uncles and aunt.

(eating lunch in between Sessions...Uncle Kieth up front, Uncle Clive blowing his nose, Aunt Betty in the stripes)
We got on the road right after the second session. And stopped at Panda Express for so viddles. With only a few wrong turns we made it back to Rexburg safe and sound!!
Highlights of my weekend:
- leaving Rexburg
- Getting to see Uncle Keith, Aunt Betty, and Uncle Clive. They had so many stories about their missions and their kids, it was so much fun just to sit and talk with them!
- The protesters at temple square and the group of members trying to drown out the guy yelling "PORNO" with a beautiful rendition of "Come Come ye Saints".
- Daniel and Heather getting engaged and being able to help it happen!!
- Meeting second cousins who are almost as old as me!!
- Flirting/dating lessons on the way home in the car!!

Em, sounds like an absolutely amazing weekend! I wish I could have been there I have never been to confrence any where besides home and a chapel! Are there pandas at the tabernacle? Hope school goes well this week
Congrats to all the soon-to-be-newlyweds!
I think that photo of the Tab with the video screens is AWESOME! I left Temple Square 9 years ago today & I promise that it was never that sparsely occupied during conference. Not that it'll make you feel better, but I've never been inside the Conference Center either.
Sounds like a really fun weekend, I wish I was still in Utah so I could have seen you all! FYI, Cael looks just like Uncle Keith...crazy! Congrats to Dan and Heather. When's the date?
